The 'Coolicon' lampshade handmade to the classic design, patented by Benjamin Electric of north London in 1933, was added to their range of lighting which includes the ‘RLM’ & ‘Benflux’ lampshades.

Shop our timeless pendant lighting, handspun from genuine solid steel, copper finished & coated in our vintage matt black finish. This shade is hand finished with pride by our artisans to give a beautiful, unique patina.

This lampshade has over 90 years of product history & is an iconic British classic designed to last a lifetime, finished with the 'Benjamin Electric' badge of honour applied by hand.

Intended to be the task light of choice in 1930’s for craft factories, workshops & all skilled industries, the shade has been a true icon ever since & is perfect for all styles of interiors, including contemporary, vintage, farmhouse & loft.
